Monday night will be music night

A title in the University's Continuing Education course catalogue caught my eye: CAPITAL OF CULTURE: LIVERPOOL'S MUSIC...Liverpool is renowned for its varied and vibrant musical life. This course offers a unique opportunity to explore the whole spectrum of the music scene in Liverpool - pop, folk, and classical - and to evaluate just what makes the Mersey beat! Well, ok, as it's on my day off, and as one of the lecturers is a friendly member of our church and Joseph pianist, I shall take up the Uni's invitation to attend. Expect Monday evening blogs on the subject through the winter months....
